First day at school

Time to start our school life in NZ! Our school name is Southern Lakes English College. We got a test, then, we were distributed into a few classes. Unfortunately, my class is full of Hong Kongers. I couldn't have a chance to make more friends who were from different countries at school. :-( However, a part of students could go in the mixed class. The reason why we couldn't go in the mixed class was our test did really well. Actually, I was a bit disappointed because I expected to have lessons with more students from other countries. But why because of our good results, we had a Hong Kongers' class... Although the arrangement made was not good for me, I was delighted that we had a nice teacher - Sarah. On the first day of school, she not only introduced herself and she showed her family's photo telling us more about her every family member. Surely she told us about her boyfriend too. Compared with HK's teacher, Sarah was free to share her things with us. That's good! :-)

Finished our lunch, we went to the Skyline Gondola Ride. We took the ride up to the mountain first. And we wore a fit helmet sitting on the chairlift until we arrived on the mountain top. On the chairlift, we could appreciate the gorgeous view of Queenstown. Then, we got the ticket that could offer us to play the luge 5 times! The first two times, we started from the beginner route. Then, we played the advanced one! It was really exciting! Moreover, Suki, Gigi, Steven, Scorpio and I joined a small race. I was the runner-up at the first time. Actually, I had to thank to Steven because I crashed his luge, then, his luge plugged the other luge on the route so that I won! :-) Futhermore, Scorpio and Steven got hurt because we had a crash. It's really funny because John said luge was a safe activity, even the children, they can also play it. Is that mean Scorpio & Steven no longer a children? :-) In the entire race, I was not the last one to arrive to the destination and I didn't get hurt. However, I didn't win the champion...

In the evening, we ate New Zealand's lamb as the dinner. It tasted really nice! Lynn told us it was very expensive so we're lucky to try this yummy meal.
After the dinner, Jamie & Kate came to our room and they asked us to play with them. They're really cute and lovely. When Sherry, Ivy.L and Ivy.W were busy with their journal, I just played with them. In fact, I had to do my journal too... so that I hid some balloons and gave them some clues. While I was doing my journal in my room, and they were looking for the balloons in the lounge. But finally, I was the slowest one to finish my journal on that day.

The luge crash were recorded by John Man...haha
