Thank you very much!!! :-)

Here, I want to thank each person who I met in NZ.

John - Good leader

The most important one that I have to say thank you is John. If he do not insist on organising the study tour, I won't have a good chance to try different new things overseas and try to speak English as much as I can!!!

John Man - Good Assistant

Although John Man looks very quiet in front of us, he brought us lots of fun. He also takes care of the junior form students so he is really a nice guy!

Baba - Funny Driver

Thank a lot, Baba! Everyday, he picked us up on time. He always says "Yeah!" and we think he worked at the disco... lol

Everyone in my mind is...

Ivy Wong - A Janpanese cartoon Icon, Doraemon, love eating. She lived with me at the same room and she is my best friend! I remember she made a bottle of salty water for my bad voice... but then, I felt more uncomfortable... Thank you for caring! :-)

Sherry - Old Lady making trouble for people but she's nice! She also lived with me at the same room. As my bed was next to her, she always put her everything on the bed... It's a mess! Moreover, she often told us that she have lost her mirror, shampoo, towels... Actually, those were under or near her bed. Thank you for her trouble for us! ;-)

Ivy Lee - Just like an older sister to care everyone! She also lived with me! She was willing to let us use her hair-dryer everyday. Thank you for your hair-dryer. Once she was sleeping, I heard that she wanted to come to NZ with John again! I'm sure that she really loves living in NZ!

Lau - A Baby as if a chick... He liked asking me about English. I think he is a good boy as he was willing to learn and speak English as much as he could even though he don't know how to express himself directly in English.

Vanessa - Smart Girl, intelligent! Do not look down on her! She speaks English perfectly. I thought she was a "boy" in my first impression but then she told us that she only loves Orlando Bloom! Therefore, she is a real girl...

Jessica - Cheerful Girl but sometimes gets easily angry. Maybe this trip can help her learn to be more independent and borden her horizons.

Jack - Like singing very much... and he's very proud of it. One day, he wrote a song about NZ and he sang to us in class... It's great! Thanks for your singing talent...

Scorpio - Non-stop speaker... He brought us lots of funny jokes on the bus! Thanks for your sharing! I wonder why he can talk a lot but didn't feel tired...

Steven - Like playing tricks on people! I remember there were 3 boys - Steven, Jack & Scorpio put me down on the snow. I won't forget that day on the mountain! And thank you both for treating me like a man...

Kelly - A Lovely Girl. Kelly is also an attractive girl because she knows many people who comes from other countries in the school! By the way, she told me that my bad voice sounded like Rose in Titanic when I shouted Jack... Thanks for your imagination!

Irisa - Quiet Girl but like laughing. Although I don't talk with you too much, I think Irisa is also a funny girl! I really want to know why you always laugh at me. Am I really look like a man or anything else?

Flora - Good at speaking English :-) Enjoy taking lots of photos in NZ. I think Flora is a thoughtful girl as you also cared about my bad voice during the trip! Thanks :-)

Suki - A Kind person to talk to but sometimes plays trick on you! She is a naughty girl... But after we were back to Hong Kong, she invited us to her home having a gathering. Thank you for your hospitable!

Gigi - Love make-up and want to be a lady! I think she is quite open-mined because there was a middle age man who met on the stream boat, then he gave her a kiss... :-O It shocked me! But Gigi is also a nice person to talk to!

Marco - Still a Little Boy! He loves the brand of famous campanies, for example LV, Patrick Cox, Vivienne Westwood... Sometimes, he made me annoyed because he liked repeating his sayings. However, he was kind to ask me if my voice turned better or not!
Iku - Cool Girl

I think she is quite cool when I saw her at the first sight. However, she isn't like that. She is a sweet Japanese girl! :-) She still keeps contact with me telling me about the things happened in NZ after I left. Thanks for your email! :-)

Joao - Frank Boy

I don't know how to describe Joao. He is very friendly and comes from Brazil. I remember he told me that my jacket's logo "BONITA" means beautiful in Brazil. Thanks for teaching me this word. ;-)

Yukie - Talkative Girl

She is a Japanese. She talked about some famous Japanese cartoons with us. Although she doesn't watch too much cartoons, she tries her best to tell us about Japanese stuff. Thanks for your sharing! :-)

Pam - Lovely Girl

She comes from Thailand. She also sent me lots of beautiful views of Thailand by email. It feels comfortable when I talked with her and thank you for your photos! :-)

Because of you... I love NZ more! :-)

Philip - Handsome Guy

As Sherry fancies to him, we got lots of funny things during our leisure.Hehee...

Lynn - Happy Host

So lucky to live a house that is filled with different countries' people. Making yummy food for us and helping us a lot in the house. I wont forget your burger!

Sarah - Sweet Teacher

She teaches us lots of things about New Zealand. We are happy to have your lesson in the morning. I like to be your student as you are really kind! :-)

Blaise - Nice Principal

He is also a driver, janitor in the school... How nice he is! And he always smiles at us!
Kate & Jamie - I love your energy! Keep it!! :-) Your dance is really amazing! I do enjoy playing with you!

James & Micheal - Quite smart boys! Love to have a restaurant working with you both! Hehee...

Arrived to HK!

It is morning when we arrived to Hong Kong. It's a tiring journey on the plane... The thing I have to do is to take a rest at home. I called my family first, then, I took a bus. I felt very hot in HK. It is a completely different weather from NZ! I started to miss NZ... All will be in my mind and I wont forget! :-)

Goodbye at the HK airport

Farewell, So long... ;-(

It's time to go back to Hong Kong. Although I enjoyed these 2 weeks very much, I wanted to stay in Queenstown longer. We got up about 9.00, then, we had a shower before we left. When we went out of the room, we saw two little girls in the living room. One comes from Australia, another comes from Russia. They're really cute! There were many children in the house and everyone brought me lots of fun. At noon, we tidy up our luggage and we were standing outside the house on time. However, the bus didn't arrive so we waited for a few minutes. Then, we saw Blaise coming to our house... he told us that they were waiting... it's mistake! Haha... When we arrived to the airport, we had to wait too! :-( And John only flied to Auckland with us... Sad to say bye but I will be back if I get money!!! ;-)

Last day at school :-(

It was our last day at school! So, we had a song for our teacher - Sarah. Then, we had a small ceremony for graduation. On that day, we had a speech after we got the certificate. As my voice was bad, I just said thank you, thank you very much... Actually, I wanted to say more... Maybe I type it here... "I do love living in NZ! I was really happy during these 2 weeks! Even my voice turned bad, I wont regret to come NZ this year. Moreover, I tried lots of things that was my first in here. It really brings me lots of good memories! So thank you very much for everyone, especially John & John Man. If they don't organise the study tour, I won't be here."

Pls pay attention to the lyrics! :-)
The name of the song is "Say thanks to Sarah"

Then, we took lots of photos at school and we went shopping in the town. Therefore, if we want to buy any presents for family & friends. It was our last chance! :-) When we arrived home, we had to prepare for our Maori dinner. It was different from last time that we only saw the show in Kiwi Birdlife Park. We had to follow their guide to enjoy the show! Not only they invited you to dance with them and taught you how to dance! It's amazing... As for the dinner, I don't think it was really special... This night was our only night that we could go out! There were full of stars in the sky... I will never forget. It's awesome! It was bad that I couldn't take the photos of this view. Or you can come to NZ feeling the starry starry winter night. It's very charming! :-)

Do you want to learn Maori Language? Just tell you about what I learned in NZ. :-)

  • Kiaora means Hello
  • Ka Pai means very good
  • Whanau means family
  • Kai means food, eat
  • Whare meas house, hut

Mixed Class + Making craft

My voice was still the same... but our song finished!!! We changed the tune of "a little universe". This is a Chinese children's ballad. And we cut some photos from magazines making a poster. There is our poster on your left hand side! Do you think it is great? Heehee... Finished our work, we changed to a mixed class. I sat next to a girl called Virgina. I don't know where she comes from but I guess she might be from Middle-East. And we played a game which was to find out the spy in the class. Unluckily, we got it wrong! In the afternoon, we went to the bead shop in the town. I made two hand laces but I had to pay more NZ$2.9 and one of thr hand lace is too tight for me so I'd like to change it a bit when I go back home! In fact, I like this activity although it's quite boring for boys. It can make good use of our counting and patience. The only thing that I don't like is the price of the bead... it's more expensive than HK!

It's made by me! :-)

Being a song writer + Gold mining + Bungy Jumping

In the morning, we had a music lesson and had to write a song that was about our classmates. And we divided into three groups. One group was Jack, Ivy.W & Lau, one group was Ivy.L, Jessica & Vanessa. Another was Suki, Sherry & I. Jack's group changed the song that is "London Bridge is falling down" and they talked about Suki, Sherry & I. That's quite good! Then, Ivy.L's group has also finished their song. Unfortunately, our group hasn't finished so we had to finish it tomorrow. After that, we went to the old gold mining town of Arrowtown and visited the museum there. It made me quite disappointed because it was not long enough time for me to find out the gold! I think I might find a little one but I couldn't. (Apart from John Man, I also tried my best to find out the gold. Can you see me behind him?) Moreover, we went to see people playing bungy jumping on the famous KAWARAU BRIDGE. If I have money, I will try it because I want to know what the feeling is. In the evening, Lynn showed us some photos and she invited us to write down the feelings on her memory book. It's really beautiful. By the way, my voice has lost! What a pity! It is really hard for me to say anything. Even I said something, people didn't understand me or request me to say it again. Oh my god... However, I think I will be better. :-)

Imagine someone were counting 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
Do you dare to jump when you standed at there?

Parasailing

Today's morning, we had a competition for testing our vocabulary that we learned yesterday. And we divided into 2 groups. One is "Hulala", another is "Bloody Beauty, mate". Suely, "Bloody Beauty, mate" won! That's really good for us to remember the words! In the afternoon, we played the parasailing near the town. John Man went with me and we were the first to try this exciting activity! We didn't feel scared and I thought it's just like the swing in the sky. Good Fun! However, I changed my voice after I had played the parasailing. I don't know what happened... and I didn't scream in the sky... but I got a bad voice... :-(
Then, Ivy.W, Jack, Lau, Vanessa, Sherry, Jessica & I went along the beach and Vanessa got a foot dropping into the water. Poor her! She took off her right sock off & wore the shoe on. She might get freezing with her feet! After that, we went shopping and ran to the bus stop on time. Unluckily, there're only Baba, Marco & John Man waiting... all of them were late! On the bus, Suki & Gigi always laughed at my voice and wanted me to sing a song form them. Oh! I can't sing anymore! And I might lose my voice tomorrow...
When we arrived home, it appeared a twins in our house. Although Jamie & kate have just left us, there were a twins boy - Micheal and James. They seemed quite cool when we saw them in the first sight but they do love playing with people. :-) So, I played with them for a quite long time.

Another week in NZ

After the lesson in the morning, we went to the Walter Park to feed the sheep. We went there by a boat called Earnslaw. It is an old boat but it looks great! And you could enjoy the tea or drink on the boat. It's just like Star Ferry in HK! When we got off the boat, there was a dog called Meg. It is a sheep dog and it works at there! Haha... it's so funny! Then, we fed the sheep, deer and cow... After that, we walked along the road following the guide to have a tea in the lounge. The tea is good! Moreover, we could see the sheep man how to shed the sheep. Before we left, most people bought a few bottles of Lanolin Cream but I got nothing as I won't use it and I want to save my money... When we left there, we took the boat back to Queenstown. On the way, we sang lots of songs and I like all of them very much as everyone is enjoyable! One of the songs was a Chinese song - "Moon represents my heart" ! It's quite special for us to hear this song because we were in NZ! ;-) And there was a man he taught us an idiom - "Bloody Beauty, mate" ! What is the meaning of this idiom? It means excellent, very good! He was really enthusiastic! We were nice to meet this guy as he brought us quite a lot fun.

It shows the engines work inside the boat!

That's how they shear a sheep

Singing on the boat

In the evening, we got a burger for dinner. Then, we took lots of photos with Kate & Jamie because they're going to leave us on Tuesday. After that, we exchanged the contact with other counties' people. Tonight is really a good night as we also shared a Chinese song - "Moon represents my heart" to our host family. That's great! :-) I was really glad that we could have a close relationship with everyone in the home stay! And today, we met a staff on the boat, she comes from Vietnam, she told us that she could take us to go around the town. I think NZers are really nice and friendly! But finally, we couldn't get the free time and her contact numbers so that we couldn't go with her alone. If I were a visitor in Hong Kong, HKers absolutely didn't do that! :-/

Day with John & John Man

Sunday should be our family day but we went skiing with John & John Man. I am very happy that we can try this activity that I have never done before. Even though I fell down many times, I like that quiet, that view and the process. However, it's exhausting activity. Here, I have to say sorry to Ivy.W that I didn't help you get up... because I was really excited of it! ;-P Although it was my first time, I went skiing with John for a quite long time. Moreover, my hard work is worth for my money. ;-) And I got the prize - orange, mango & apple juice from John. Thank you very much! It is quite pity that Sherry didn't go with us because she didn't want to spend too much extra money. After that, we went to an old pub having a cup of hot blackcurrant juice. I drank a half of the cup so I didn't feel dizzy but Ivy.W & Ivy.L felt sleepy on the car. That's really lucky. But anyway, I think the taste is not good! :-( The only benefit of the drink is to keep us warm.
When we arrived home, Sherry just said she stayed at home all day. Poor girl... lol

Puzzling World

On your left hand side, the photos were taken by me! It is completely different from another one on your right hand side. I used the stupid way to take the photos... On your right hand side, the photos were copied from www.puzzlingworld.co.nz/
All the attractions in the Puzzling World that we have visited, and I think the photos of the official website are more beautiful than mine... Take a look! ;-)www.puzzlingworld.co.nz/attractions.html

We did lots of things today!!! First, we had a long long way to the Puzzling World by bus in the morning. And our host family has prepared lunch that was a bun with cheese, tomatoes and some vegetables for us. Yummy!!! On the way, I felt a bit dizzy so I vomited... the thing was my breakfast. Luckily, I didn't vomit on the bus... When we arrived to Puzzling World, we went in the maze first. John told us that we had to find out 4 colour corners in the maze. To be honest, it seems to be easy but it is quite hard to find out those four colour corners! However, we got it! Then, we went to the toilet. It's quite surprising as it was very unsual public toilets. Apart from the usual male & female toilet facilities there is a third room made out to replicate a Roman-style toilet. It's cool! Moreover, we went to illusion rooms that made me feel really dizzy.

Then, we had our lunch nearby the lake! There are many ducks & sea gull and we shared some food to them! Beautiful view & Wonderful food... It makes me never forget!!! ;-)

At the afternoon, we went to play the golf, archery and shooting. I like the shooting most because the gun is real. It is my first time to do that! There are my results!! So far so good! ;-)

Shooting scores & Archery scores

Hehee.. in the evening, we went to the mountain, it's good fun! It made me freezing until I got to the bed. I was exhausted & cold! However, I really like the activities that we have done and the amazing views of NZ.

Ramble with a horse but then it's worried...

What a great day! We went horse-riding today! However, we couldn't go fast because Ivy.W & Ivy.L were afraid that they could not go back to HK if they fell down from the horse. ;-))) Therefore, we could only have a ramble. The houses must be in a line, otherwise, the horses will chase each other so that it will be a mess! On the way, the horse is not too difficult to control but they would suddenly stop somewhere to get the grass to eat or release their feces. It's quite disgusting! ;-P Finished the activity, John said us that we would go to the mountain tomorrow. I was very happy as we can have a snowball fight again! :-)
Then, Ivy.W, Sherry & I went to the supermarket to get something useful for tomorrow... but suddenly, Sherry said she forgot to bring the mobile so she had to go home first. Actually, we were quite worried about her as she might get lost. Therefore, Ivy.W & I bought the things as quickly as you can. Then, we saw John in the town and he said us where was Sherry... At that moment, I thought I shouldn't let her go home alone! But luckily, she met John & John Man in the town so that we can go home together! If Sherry really got lost in the town, it is hard to imagine what will happen next...
By the way, we still have a week left. It's very fast to go back to HK but I enjoyed the trip very much! Hope we will have more great great activities in coming days!

Kiwi & Maori

This was our day 6 of the journey. Everything was good! :-) And I could see the snow in the morning! It's really fantastic! And we had a good time to know more about New Zealand's animal and Maori today. Do you know what is the famous animal in NZ? The answer is Kiwi bird. It is a kind of bird but it can't fly. Most kiwi species are endangered. The kiwi is also a national symbol of New Zealand. Their lifestyle is similar to owl as they will appear in the night time! So we went to a special room to see the kiwis. Unfortunately, there was only one! We had to keep quiet because they are very sensitive. The appearance of the kiwi looked like a real kiwi fruit. It's so funny! :-) Then, we had a Maori show. Their faces can change very fast and their voices are very loud. It's difficult to do that so I enjoyed the show very much! When we went home, Jamie and Kate danced for us. Ha ha... it's really cute! And I learned their chicken dance. Ivy.W & Sherry took their cameras to have a video. I don't mind doing some silly things in the house because it made me have fun a lot! If Ivy.W, Ivy.L, Sherry joined the dance, it would be more interesting! :-)

My first...

There were many activities that were my first time to do in Queenstown. It's an amazing place for us to enjoy studying & living there! However, it was a bad weather in the morning so that we cancelled the original activity - horse-riding and changed to be mini golf at Caddyshack indoor. :-) After the lesson at school, we divided into 3 groups. John Man, Suki, Gigi, Lau, Jessica & I were in the same team. As we counted the scores on the record, no one wanted to be the worst one. Therefore, Gigi was cheating! Sometimes, she hit the ball to the next part. :-) It's really amusing! Then,Ivy.W & I took some photos over there. It seemed so rush so that the photos mightn't be wonderful. However, the design of the place is interesting and it makes us look like bigger. After the mini-golf, Ivy.W, Ivy.L, Sherry & I were very lucky that could follow John & John Man to go to the mountain. It's my first time to feel and touch what is the real snowy winter! So I have to thank you both!!! ;-) It's also my first to play the snowball fight. Even though it was really cold, we enjoyed it very much! I do like it!!! ;-)

Gigi showed us how to play the golf in a wrong way!

*By the way, there is a photo that was taken by Ivy.W. Sherry said I looked like a man who is a HK artist - Joe Ma. (on the right hand side)... Don't you think I look like him?
